AC & Cooling Maintenance

Inspect compressor operation — verify correct startup, warm-up, and cool-down cycles
Check refrigerant levels with diagnostic gauges to confirm proper system charge*
Inspect and clean the fan compartment and blower motor for efficient airflow
Test thermostat for accurate operation and temperature control
Clean evaporator coils using professional-grade coil cleaning solutions
Clean condenser coils with approved solutions to improve efficiency and performance
Clean and inspect condensate drain line and drain pan to prevent leaks or overflow
Open and inspect air cleaner operation — replace filter media if applicable**
Replace standard 1″ or 2″ disposable air filter
Provide detailed service report with repair recommendations after each visit

What systems does the Comfort Club cover?

The agreement covers any residential HVAC system we service — central air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and boilers. If you have multiple systems, your rate will reflect the number of systems serviced.

When are the two seasonal visits scheduled?

We recommend scheduling your cooling visit in spring (March–May) and your heating visit in fall (September–November) to ensure your system is ready before peak season. However, visits can be scheduled at any time that's convenient for you.

What discounts do Comfort Club members receive?

Once enrolled in the Preventive Maintenance Agreement, members receive exclusive savings on diagnostic services, repairs, and equipment replacement. When it's time to replace your system, you'll also receive a special discount on new high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment installation.

What happens if my system needs a repair during a visit?

If our technician identifies a repair need, they will provide a clear explanation of the issue along with upfront pricing before any work begins. As a Comfort Club member, you'll receive discounted pricing on all repair services. We only use high-quality OEM parts to ensure reliable, long-lasting repairs.

What is included in the service report?

Following each visit, your technician provides a detailed written report covering system condition, any components showing wear, refrigerant status (where applicable), and repair or upgrade recommendations. We also assist in scheduling any necessary repairs at your convenience.

Does AMS service all HVAC brands?

Yes. As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, our NATE-certified technicians are factory-trained on Carrier products and fully equipped to service and install all major brands of residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
